Deca Cable's registration to the ISO 9001:2000 quality standards represents a major achievement in establishing and maintaining a quality process. Our goal is to achieve excellence in manufacturing and customer service by monitoring – and meeting – specific performance standards. The ISO standards were developed by the International Organization for Standardization in Geneva, Switzerland. Incidentally, the name "ISO" does not stand for the initials of the organization, but is derived from the Greek word isos, which means "equal." Boiled down to its basic elements, ISO-registered organizations document what they do and do what they document. The registration process shows us where we can improve manufacturing, quality, and service levels, and it allows us to streamline the way we do our jobs, and drive costs down. All this makes for a productive organization that can stay focused on what is important – delivering superior cables and service to our customers."
